Help Lead the Next Chapter of Camp 1:27
Raleigh’s Place is seeking a year-round Camp Coordinator to recruit and develop staff, lead summer programming, care for campers, and help Camp 1:27 continue growing as a Christ-centered ministry.
More Than a Summer Role
For 15 summers, Camp 1:27 has given children and teenagers connected to foster care a place to experience joy, belonging, meaningful relationships, and the hope of the Gospel.
We are now looking for a leader who can help build the next chapter of Camp 1:27.
A Week That Matters
Camp 1:27 is a free, Christ-centered summer camp serving children and youth impacted by foster care, adoption, and relative placement.
Introduce Campers to Christ
Through chapel, Scripture, small groups, worship, mentoring, and everyday relationships, we want every camper to clearly hear the hope of the Gospel.
Give Them an Incredible Week
We want children to laugh, build friendships, try new things, feel safe, and experience the kind of childhood memories every young person deserves.
Successful Camp Ministry Starts Long Before Summer
The Camp Coordinator provides primary leadership for Camp 1:27 throughout the year. The Coordinator will recruit and develop staff, plan programming, manage registration, build relationships with families and ministry partners, coordinate facilities and logistics, maintain strong safety systems, and lead the camp team during the summer.
We are not simply looking for someone who can manage a schedule. We are looking for someone who can build a team, develop people, solve problems, communicate a vision, and lead with both conviction and compassion.

Help oversee maintenance, work projects, facility rentals, campus readiness, and year-round use of the Camp 1:27 property.
Use Your Leadership for a Mission That Matters
If you are passionate about Christ, children, leadership, and developing others, we would love to hear from you.
Apply for the PositionCharacter Matters as Much as Experience

Spiritually Mature
A committed follower of Jesus Christ who desires to lead others faithfully.

Someone who builds trust with campers, staff, churches, families, and community partners.
A Recruiter
Someone comfortable meeting people, communicating vision, networking, and inviting others into the mission.
Organized
Someone capable of managing people, schedules, paperwork, facilities, deadlines, and details.
Proactive
Someone who sees what needs to be done and takes responsibility for getting it done.
Calm Under Pressure
Someone who can lead thoughtfully when schedules change or unexpected problems arise.
A Developer of People
Someone who wants to help young adults grow as leaders, servants, and followers of Christ.
