Raleigh’s Place is nestled in 25 acres of beautiful wooded and pastured land in Clanton, AL. We are conveniently located 5 miles from I-65 and are less than an hour from both Birmingham and Montgomery. The Lord has blessed us with great facilities including cabins, dining hall, pools, amphitheater, disc golf course, and more. We would like to share our facilities with you. The Cabins
We have 4 cabins. Each cabin has 5 rooms with five twin size beds each, 2 full bathrooms, living/dining area, and a massive back deck. All of our cabins have central heating and cooling. In total, we can accommodate up to 100 people at a time.
In the area surrounding our cabins, we have a separate bathhouse containing 8 showers, 2 toilets, and 6 sinks; an open pavilion with picnic tables, half bath, laundry room, and full size refrigerator/freezer; and an amphitheater with fire pit.
Dining and Worship Area
Our dining facility comes with a “formal” dining room, commercial kitchen, men’s and women’s restrooms, water fountains, and large multipurpose area featuring ping pong tables, foosball tables, mini basketball goals, and plenty of extra space for parties, dances, worship gatherings, and weddings.
Our audio/visual is also available for rent. We have a complete sound system, projector, and computer available. A Raleigh’s Place staff member will assist with set up and multimedia use.
Play Area
Just behind our dining facility is a large ball field. We have a couple of small playgrounds, horseshoe pit, low ropes course, and a Gaga pit. These are great activities for camps of all ages!
Pools
We have two pools with a bathhouse. One pool is our deep pool with diving board; the other is a shallower pool with water slide. The bathhouse has separate men’s and women’s rooms that have two toilets and sinks each. Pool rental includes a lifeguard.
Disc Golf Course
Raleigh’s Place/Camp 1:27 Disc Golf Course is a full 18 hole course. The course travels through all 20 acres of our campus and features a mixture of open field, technical, wooded, and uphill shots. RPDGC is a private course so contact us to set up a time to play. We plan to host 2 tournaments a year to raise funds for our programs. We also host Clanton’s Disc Golf League about once a month.
Rental Rates
- $100/night per cabin up to 20 per cabin
- $75/hour for pool ($50 + $25 for lifeguard)
- $450/day for dining facility
- $50/hour for 2-6 hours
